JOB OVERVIEW
Valentine is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Producer to join our growing team. The Producer oversees the full production lifecycle across video, digital, print, and experiential work. This role is accountable for shaping project timelines, approving creative direction, managing budgets, securing talent, and guiding teams against cost, scope, and quality expectations. Producers act as senior client partners and internal leaders, ensuring seamless communication, strong execution, and consistently high-quality output. You will work alongside a diverse and dynamic team to bring brands to life, elevating their messaging through compelling storytelling and innovative creative.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the end-to-end production process, overseeing all aspects of content creation from concept through delivery, including video, audio, and other media formats.
- Serve as the central point of contact for project workflows, ensuring effective communication and on-time deliverables across all stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, including identifying resources and resolving any production challenges.
- Own final project wrap and closeout, ensuring all assets are handed off, budgets are reconciled, contracts are finalized, and projects are formally closed.
- Develop and manage production budgets and oversee finalized contracting and agreements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project scope and financial targets.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources strategically to meet deadlines without compromising creative integrity.
- Lead resolution of time-sensitive issues and navigate project shifts with a solutions-focused, decisive approach.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including creatives, project managers, strategists, leadership, vendors, and talent to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Lead client-facing meetings, ensuring project briefs are aligned with client needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with Creative and Strategy teams to ensure all creative work is aligned with brand objectives and tailored for specific channels.
- Provide oversight and feedback on production equipment selection and usage, ensuring tools are appropriate for project needs and creative standards.
- Ensure content adheres to brand and quality standards across all platforms, including digital, print, OOH, to optimize channels for engagement and visibility through strong storytelling.
- Organize and manage digital assets and production files, ensuring easy access and proper labeling, while providing feedback and ensuring content is delivered on time and within expectations.
- Stay informed on the latest trends in social media and digital content to seize new opportunities for creative growth.
- Consistently align your work with Valentine’s strategic, creative, and cultural goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-8 years of experience as a lead producer within a creative advertising agency, production company, or internal creative team.
- Proven expertise in content creation and production processes across multiple media formats.
- Ability to think both strategically and operationally, ensuring the team remains efficient while fostering creativity.
- Experience building and managing production budgets, negotiation with vendors and talent, and reviewing/processing contracts.
- Extraordinary attention to detail, while managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Experience juggling multiple concurrent projects with a collaborative approach and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to connect with both internal teams, external clients, and key stakeholders, and the ability to distill complex ideas into actionable plans.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing client needs and market dynamics with ease.
YOU BRING
- A degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Film, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
- Prior experience in commercial content production or advertising.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining professional video and audio equipment.
- Fluency in post-production workflows and editing language, with experience using tools such as Frame.io to review, manage, and deliver content.
- Existing and reliable production relationships in key markets.
- Expertise with production management tools including but not limited to Asana, Google Suite, Wrapbook, Saturation / Hot Budget.
- A creative mindset with an in-depth cultural understanding of the fashion, sports, and lifestyle landscapes.
